FXCM Ltd Micro Account Transfer Form

If you are currently an FXCM live account holder and would like to request a Forex Capital Markets Ltd ("FXCM Ltd") Micro account, please complete the required fields (*) below as pertains to your live trading account. FXCM Ltd is regulated in the UK by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).†

Be advised that in order to complete your request, all positions must be closed on your trading account. The full balance in your account will be transferred to a new FXCM Ltd Micro account. Once transferred, you will receive a new username, password, and account number via e-mail.

Trading on the Micro FX Trading Station gives you the ability to:

  • Place stop-loss and limit orders.
  • Modify and close orders from the "Open Positions" window.
  • Hedge, this will be noted as "Y" in the Accounts window.

Note: Applicants of the following countries or provinces cannot apply for an FXCM Micro account:
Australia, Belarus, Brazil, British Columbia (Canada), Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iran, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Myanmar, North Korea, Quebec (Canada), Somalia, South Korea, Sudan, Syria, and Zimbabwe.

I authorize and direct FXCM to transfer the above account to a Micro account with FXCM Ltd. In providing such authorization and direction, I consent to the following conditions:

  1. I have read, agreed to the provisions of the FXCM Ltd Agreement (the "Agreement"), and consent to all Terms of Business as applicable to my country of residence.
  2. I shall be classified as a retail client unless I specifically request to be classified otherwise.
  3. I acknowledge and agree that the Agreement will govern the Account with FXCM Ltd and that all of the provisions of the Agreement are deemed incorporated by reference into this form.
  4. I agree to execute and deliver, or cause to be executed and delivered, any other agreements or instruments which may reasonably be requested in respect of the transfer of the Account and the establishment thereof as an Account with FXCM Ltd.
  5. (If applicable) I authorize and direct FXCM LLC to provide FXCM Ltd with any personal information related to my Account which may reasonably be required in order to permit FXCM Ltd to properly establish and administer the Account.
  6. I acknowledge and agree that the FSA's client money rules will apply. Available margin must exist in order for funds to be transferred, as removal of funds may result in a margin call. I shall hold FXCM Ltd and its affiliates harmless of any and all claims regarding such funds transfer upon proper credit to the above named account.
  7. I understand that all FXCM Ltd Micro accounts are denominated in USD. If my trading account is denominated in a different currency, transferring to a Micro account with FXCM Ltd will result in the conversion of funds to USD at a conversion rate with markup.
  8. My FXCM account is an individual, self-traded account.
  9. My FXCM account is not associated with a referring broker.

You will receive a confirmation e-mail notifying you when your account will be upgraded to FXCM Micro within the next 3-5 business days.

† If you are currently a Forex Capital Markets, LLC ("FXCM LLC") account holder, please be advised that your account will no longer be held with FXCM LLC which falls under NFA/CFTC jurisdiction (NFA ID: 0308179). Your account will now be held with FXCM Ltd which is regulated by the FSA (Firm Registration Number: 217689).
