How I Got Started: I moved to California and needed a 24 hour market.
Favorite Trading Tools: Simple Moving Averages, Trend Lines, Interest Rate Differentials

Word of Advice: Give a 10-year-old a chart and ask them if the lines are going up or down. |

| Thomas Long has been a broker, trader, and analyst in the financial markets for over 15 years. He was introduced to the financial markets when he began working as a futures and commodities broker for a futures commission merchant located at the Chicago Board of Trade. He eventually refined his trading approach while working as a proprietary bond trader for a Chicago bank. He now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and works at FXCM’s San Francisco office. |

He graduated from NYU's Stern School of Business, majoring in Finance and Management, and played for the NYU Golf Team. | Gregory McLeod has been a teacher for 16 years and a trader for over 10 years. He started trading options on futures specializing in grains and currencies. He traded stocks and options until 2000 when he transitioned to trading forex. While working on his MBA, he became interested in the financial markets when he was introduced to trading by his professor. He worked as a research analyst at a proprietary trading firm for three years before joining FXCM. He now lives in Plano, TX, and works at FXCM’s Texas office. |
